Delta Robot Usable for Cartons Palletizing with Vacuum Cup Application

Cartons palletizing is on principle one type of material handling. Material handling refers to the material lifting, moving and placing as per production time and place, that is, the storage of materials and short distance management. It simply means the use of a variety of power and handling machinery to move away materials and transport to the designated location safely and economically in time.

Delta robot can be used in the last step of cartons palletizing. It works together with the conveying line and mechanical cartons arrangement mechanism to make the cartons in the combination shape to be suitable for being carried onto the pallet. Then the delta robot lowers to the arranged cartons and sucks them with its vacuum cups or grabs them by grippers to place them onto the pallet. This movement may be repeated several times to finish one single layer.
